Who Is NYC For? was Thought Matter's 2024 contribution to the NYCxDESIGN Festival. The sold-out exhibition challenged assumptions about equity, public space, and who New York is ultimately designed to serve. 

As Senior Strategist, I led much of the project's strategy, concept, copywriting, installation narratives, and marketing campaign, grounding the experience in a question that confronted every visitor as they moved through the space: If New York is meant to be a city for everyone, why does it increasingly feel designed for so few? 

Together, we transformed our studio into an immersive civic dialogue, using original installations, data, and storytelling to examine housing, infrastructure, child welfare, and representation. The project demonstrated how design can provoke conversation, challenge systems, and inspire people to imagine a more equitable city.
